Conference Exhibit and Advertising Opportunities
The Society for Music Theory Thirty-second Annual Meeting will take place this fall in Montreal and will attract over 500 theorists from colleges, universities and conservatories from around the world. Over 70 individual presentations are scheduled along with special sessions, concerts and performances.
EXHIBIT AREA
Exhibits will be located adjacent to the conference meeting rooms. Complimentary refreshment breaks will be provided in the exhibit area. Tables are 6’ X 30” and draped and come with two chairs. All exhibitors receive a complimentary sign, a listing in the program book and one complimentary registration.
Reservations and Deadlines: Please fill out the attached reservation form and submit by August 30, 2009. Table assignments cannot be made until payment is received. Cancellations before August 30, 2009 will be refunded (a $25 handling charge will be assessed).
(Internet connections and electrical service can be obtained directly from the hotel. Contact information will be provided upon receipt of completed reservation form.)

CONFERENCE PROGRAM ADVERTISING
The Program Book containing conference abstracts and final program is distributed to all meeting participants. Both full-page and half-page advertisements are available. Full-page $200.00, half-page $125.00. Black and white only. Acceptable formats: camera-ready, disc/e-mail (PDF, Illustrator, Photoshop). Please return the reservation form and ad copy by August 30, 2009
PACKET INSERTS
Insert your brochures and other materials in the conference packets. 500 copies of each insert are needed (no more than twenty-four pages per insert). The cost is $125.00 per item. Information on due date and shipping will be sent upon receipt of reservation form.
COMMON TABLE
A common table will be available for the display of individual books, periodicals, and other resource materials. Please contact us if you are interested in participating in the common table.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS:
Exhibitors are responsible for their own hotel reservations. SMT has reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Regency Montreal at a special rate of $189.00 Canadian, per night (single/double occupancy). Reservation deadline is October 16, 2009. To make a reservation call the Hotel’s toll-free number 1-800-361-8234 and ask for the Society for Music Theory block at the Hyatt Regency Montreal.
