GENERAL INFO

Tably.es is a global sheet music platform connecting musicians with high-quality educational and performance materials created by professional editors, arrangers, and transcribers.

We are expanding our Creator Program and are looking for passionate music professionals who want to turn their expertise in transcription, arrangement, and music notation into a recurring source of income.

This is a remote, independent role with flexible participation. Contributors manage their own catalog and focus on creating high-quality sheet music and tablatures, while Tably provides the technical infrastructure, catalog visibility, automated digital delivery, platform tools, and customer support.

The opportunity is particularly suitable for musicians, music theorists, arrangers, educators, and transcribers who already create scores or would like to build a professional digital catalog for students and musicians worldwide.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Music Editors, Arrangers, and Transcribers participating in the Tably Creator Program are responsible for creating and publishing clear, accurate, playable, and professionally prepared sheet music and tablatures.

Main responsibilities include:

Create high-quality sheet music, arrangements, transcriptions, and tablatures for instruments such as piano, guitar, bass, violin, and other supported instruments.
Prepare materials that are technically accurate, clearly notated, and suitable for educational or performance use.
Upload completed scores and tablatures to the Tably platform.
Add relevant metadata to publications, including instrument, tempo, difficulty level, and other information that helps musicians understand and use the material.
Build and manage a personal catalog of music resources.
Decide which eligible resources to make available for free and which to offer as Premium content.
Review and improve previously published materials when corrections or better versions become available.
Maintain consistent editorial and notation quality across the catalog.
Create arrangements and transcriptions that provide pedagogical, practical, or entertainment value to musicians.

Contributors focus primarily on transcription, arrangement, and music editing. Tably manages the underlying technical infrastructure, platform visibility, automated file delivery, and customer support.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for candidates with strong music notation, transcription, arranging, or related music-theory skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

Advanced proficiency in music notation and editing software such as MuseScore, Guitar Pro, Sibelius, Finale, or comparable tools.
Strong understanding of music notation, rhythm, harmony, instrumentation, and score preparation.
Ability to produce accurate transcriptions from recorded music or other musical sources.
Ability to create original arrangements that are playable and appropriate for the intended instrument and skill level.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, high-quality material.
Ability to prepare scores that can be used directly by students, teachers, and performing musicians.
Interest in developing a professional identity and catalog as a music editor, arranger, or transcriber.
Ability to work independently and manage one's own publishing activity.

Experience as a music teacher, professional musician, arranger, composer, engraver, or transcriber is welcome but not required if the applicant can demonstrate strong notation and transcription skills.
