We especially encourage applications from music scholars with expertise in one (or more) of the following areas: critical race studies, gender and sexuality, decolonization, music theory, creative practices (e.g., composition, performance, improvisation, production, etc.), and technology and media. The position requires a PhD or equivalent, with evidence of an active commitment to innovative research as reflected in peer- reviewed publications and the potential to develop an externally-funded, high quality research program.
