• The University of Oklahoma School of Music (Norman, OK) seeks a dedicated teacher and researcher of music theory to join a program long known for the education and development of generations of exceptional musicians and critical thinkers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Teach undergraduate courses and graduate seminars (2 + 3) to music majors, collaborate with the theory area in all departmental activities, and serve on various committees as assigned by the Director of the OU School of Music.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications
Earned Ph.D. in Music Theory. Evidence of successful teaching in music theory at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Desired Qualifications
Record of scholarly accomplishments: presentations at regional, national, and international conferences, and publications.
