The School of Music at Baylor University seeks an engaging and collaborative educator who can excel at teaching undergraduate music theory courses. • Teach courses within the undergraduate theory and ear-training curriculum (Note: Teaching composition is not part of the job responsibilities).
• Teach other courses, as needed
• Participate in School of Music and University service as appropriate
• Contribute to the intellectual life and mission of Baylor University and the School of Music
• Terminal degree in music theory or composition completed by the appointment date
• Successful record of teaching music theory as instructor of record at the collegiate level
• Keyboard skills
• All School of Music faculty are expected to demonstrate commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment for our students
