The Texas Tech UniversitySchool of MusicComposer Celebration Seriesis proud to announce a symposium honoring the life, scholarship,and music of Zoltán Kodály.Bestremembered for his contributions to music education, Kodály also was an accomplished composer, musicologist, and linguist.He championedHungarian culture and the preservation of folk music. Therefore, this international symposium will engage an interdisciplinary group of scholars and performers.
