Submissions should include the following:
1) A proposal of no more than 500 words, including any footnotes or endnotes. (One mathematical equation may be counted as one word.) A maximum of four pages of supplementary materials (such as musical examples, diagrams, and selected bibliography) may be appended; these pages will not be counted within the 500-word limit. The proposal must include the title of the paper but exclude the author’s name and any other identifying information. References to the author’s own work must occur in the third person.
2) Personal information that will include the following: title of the proposal, author’s name, institutional affiliation or independent scholar/student status, a brief bio, email address, and all audio-visual requirements. This information will be input on the Google form (see link below).
Proposals should be uploaded electronically as PDFs to the Google form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16aQCmzdS1wC84uVYEk6rUzp8OYYM0FOf-Q-bhqcWomw/edit; preferred) or emailed to the society President according to the instructions in the form received no later than Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:55 p.m. MST.
There will be an award for the best student paper presented at the conference. Students who wish to be considered should declare their interest in the cover letter (submitted by January 10) and submit a file of the complete paper (pdf, doc, or docx) by Friday, March 7, 2025.
