SMT is seeking nominations for a new Vice President and two new Members-at-Large.
SMT will hold an election this spring for positions on the Executive Board that will become open at the end of our business meeting this fall. We invite you to bring to our attention names of outstanding candidates for a new Vice President and two new Members-at-Large of the Executive Board.
One way that our society welcomes and innovates is by electing welcoming and innovating leaders. Please consider carefully who you think might be best equipped to serve in this capacity, and please do take the initiative to nominate them. Self-nominations are encouraged and appreciated.
Nominations, including self-nominations, may be made until January 15, 2025. The Nominating Committee will consider these nominations, then craft a short slate of candidates for the general election later this spring.
