SMT is seeking nominations for a new SMT President-Elect and two new Members-at-Large.
In Spring 2026, we will elect a new SMT President-Elect and two new Members-at-Large of the Executive Board; those elected will assume their new roles after the Fall 2026 meeting.
This is an important opportunity to select members who will serve as thoughtful, innovative, and welcoming stewards of the SMT. Please consider carefully who you think might be best equipped to serve in this capacity, and please do take the initiative to nominate them. Self-nominations are encouraged and appreciated.
Nominations, including self-nominations, may be made until January 16, 2026. The Nominating Committee will consider these nominations, then craft a short slate of candidates for the general election later this spring.
