The Graduate Students in Music Conference (GSIM) is an annual academic conference run by a committee of graduate students in the music program at The Graduate Center, CUNY. The conference generally takes place in the spring, with a new theme or focus topic every year. Presentations at the conference can take a variety of forms, including traditional paper sessions, performances, lecture recitals, and workshops. The 23rd annual GSIM conference will take place March 13–14, 2020. Our conference theme is “Musical Intersections” and our keynote speaker will be Dr. Matthew D. Morrison of New York University.
