We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for our upcoming 13th annual 2026 GAMuT Student Conference! This year, the conference will be held on February 21st, 2026, at The University of North Texas. We invite graduate students to submit their paper proposals for this incredible opportunity to present current research.

Presentations:
We encourage submissions from related fields in ethnomusicology, musicology, music theory, or interdisciplinary approaches. Presentations will be 20 minutes in length, with a 10-minute Q&A. All presentations will be included in a drawing for the Conference Paper Award of $100.

Paper Proposals:
500 word maximum (you may include examples in subsequent pages. Please keep the examples to a maximum of 2 pages).

In your proposal, please include:
- Title of your paper
- Your name
- Collegiate affiliation
- Email Address
- Phone Number
