The graduate students of the Columbia University Music Department are pleased to invite you to attend our hybrid 2025 Current Musicology Conference, “CO:CREATING-COLLABORATION IN MUSIC STUDIES.” All conference events will take place on March 28th, 2025 in Dodge Hall at Columbia University in the City of New York. The day’s events include two panels of speakers and a keynote address by Dr. Michael N. Shadlen, MD, PhD; Dr. Chris Washburne, PhD; and Helen Sung, Jazz Artist-in-Residence at the Zuckerman Institute at Columbia University. All paper presentations will be streamed via Zoom for virtual attendees. We will provide a light breakfast, lunch, and catered reception for all in-person attendees.
We welcome all scholars, composers, performers, and thinkers from diverse interdisciplinary backgrounds to attend these conference proceedings, whether in person or virtually.
The registration form for the conference is linked, and you can also follow us on Instagram (@currentmusicology) for more information and updates about the conference program.
