Applicants must have a PhD or discipline-appropriate equivalent terminal qualification in hand by time of appointment (July 1, 2023). The successful candidate will have Black and African Diaspora Studies as a core research and teaching focus and should be willing to take a central role in the BAFD program. This job is open to all areas of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Dalhousie, including the Fountain School of Performing Arts, which offers degrees in many areas of the performing arts, including BMus, BA Music, and MA Musicology degrees.
