The TCU School of Music seeks a one-year Visiting Lecturer in Music Theory for the 2023-24 academic year. The School of Music welcomes applicants from all backgrounds as we build an inclusive and diverse music community. This is a one-year faculty leave replacement with no expectation for renewal.
This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person.
Teaching assignments will be based on the experience of the person hired, but could include music theory, ear training, form and analysis, instrumentation, and applied composition lessons.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Masters degree (Doctoral degree preferred)
• Experience teaching music theory and/or aural skills in a collegiate setting
