9-month appointment. This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding.
The incumbent in this position will teach the first-year music theory sequence for majors and oversee graduate student teaching assistants in the aural skills sequence. In consultation with the music theory area, provide two additional upper-level elective courses for undergraduates and/or graduate students.
