This conference will be hybrid: the paper presentations and the keynote address will be held in person; conference attendees are welcome to join us in person or virtually, as the conference sessions will be live streamed. We are excited to welcome Professor Noriko Manabe (Temple University) as this year’s keynote speaker. All proposals must be submitted electronically in PDF format, and must be received by 11:59 PM EST on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Please email these PDF files to: Submissions should include the following: • An anonymous proposal of no more than 500 words, including any footnotes or endnotes. A maximum of four pages of supplementary materials may be appended (which will not be counted within the word limit, but should not appreciably add to the word count or content of the proposal); • An anonymous abstract of 200–300 words suitable for publication; • A cover letter written in the body of the email providing the title of the proposal, the author’s name and institutional affiliation, phone number, and e-mail address.
