CV Review session, hosted by the Professional Development Committee

The SMT Professional Development Committee (PDC) will be hosting a CV Review Session at the upcoming SMT Annual Meeting in New Orleans. The CV Review Session will be held on Friday, November 2, from 1:00-3:00 in Salon 829 of the Sheraton Hotel. Whether you are actively seeking a position this year, or you anticipate applying for a job in the near future, or you simply want to be prepared on general principle, you are warmly invited to consult with our faculty reviewers. This year's reviewers are:

  • Adrian Childs -- University of Georgia
  • Sarah Ellis -- University of Oklahoma
  • Yayoi Uno Everett -- Emory University
  • Elizabeth Sayrs -- Ohio University
  • Matthew Shaftel -- Florida State University
  • Jonathan Wild -- McGill University

Please bring several copies of your C.V. in case you would like to consult with multiple reviewers. You are also strongly encouraged to bring your cover letter for additional feedback. This session is open to all SMT members (graduate students, faculty, and independent scholars alike). It is not necessary to sign up in advance, but queries may be directed to the chair of the CV Review Session, Nancy Rogers, Nancy.Rogers@fsu.edu.
