The Music and Online Cultures Research Network (MOCReN) is delighted to announce the programme for its upcoming ‘music and online cultures in a changing platform ecosystem’ conference, taking place at NOVA University Lisbon, 19–21st June 2025.
The conference will feature 14 panels on topics ranging from digital music patronage to online transmedia practices, two special plenary sessions on Lusophone algorithmic music cultures and the effects of AI on creativity and musical engagement on platforms, and keynote-responses from Holly Rogers (Goldsmiths, University of London) and Francesca Sobande (Cardiff University).
