The Music and Media (MaM) Study Group of the International Musicological Society (IMS)
is pleased to announce its 12th annual meeting to be held virtually on June 10-11, 2021. The conference will be hosted by Cleveland State University in partnership with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The presentations will examine the theoretical and practical implications of pre-existing music in a variety of screen media-with special emphasis on cinema, video games, and digital technologies. The two keynote addresses feature James Buhler, University of Texas at Austin (Thursday) and Carol Vernallis, Stanford University (Friday).
